Red Hat pop-up experience

Red Hat, the world’s leading provider of enterprise open source solutions, always has a presence at the top technology events. But in 2020, we had to quickly shift gears to find a way to still be a part of those industry events within a virtual space. Enter: the Red Hat pop-up experience.

The industry events team had already come up with the idea of creating a virtual space that provides access to Red Hat experts and high-level information into the company’s open hybrid cloud strategy. The space would be promoted during select industry events as a means to connect with attendees in the same way as a physical event.

When the creative team was brought on to bring the idea to life, we noticed the need to turn the space into a strategic concept before adding copy and art to the virtual platform. Because not only was this an opportunity to reinvent the trade show experience, at the time, we would be the first to do so.

I created and led the concept, messaging guide, video scripts, promotional copy, and more to ensure the pop-up experience accurately reflected Red Hat’s open hybrid cloud strategy, the Code is open_ brand campaign, and general expertise in open source solutions.
